The Story Behind All Shook Up
Inspired by the legendary music of Elvis Presley, All Shook Up is a jukebox musical that has captivated audiences worldwide. The story, loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, is set in a small American town in the 1950s. When a charismatic, motorcycle-riding young man named Chad arrives, he brings the power of rock ‘n’ roll, shaking up the town’s traditional values and transforming lives along the way. Packed with humour, romance, and toe-tapping musical numbers, All Shook Up is a heartwarming celebration of love, rebellion, and the undeniable influence of music.

Adding to the excitement, Fermata Music School’s very own Ash Mikiciuk will be starring in the lead role of Chad! Stepping into the spotlight as Chad is none other than Fermata’s own Ash Mikiciuk—a truly remarkable performer whose passion for music and theatre knows no bounds. A genuinely musical maniac, Ash has been lighting up stages for years despite turning only 16 this June! Having completed Grade 8 Music Theatre and Popular Songs with RIAM, achieved 7 Grades in Piano, and developed into a mature guitar performer, Ash is an artist through and through. Starting their musical journey at the age of five, Ash’s love for performance has evolved into something extraordinary. Ash has competed in numerous European vocal competitions, inspiring audiences with their breathtaking vocal ability.
