Happy NEW YEAR and welcome to 2023! #FermataTeam would like to send best wishes to all of you! It’s been great to see that well over 220 students are waiting to resume lessons tomorrow. Here are a few bits and pieces you can expect to hear or see from #FermataTeam in the next few weeks.
Let’s start with a QUICK UPDATE ABOUT THE CHRISTMAS RECITAL AND FUNDRAISER – RAFFLE WINNERS
I only realized I never Thank You for your amazing support during the Christmas Recital. The fundraiser brought over €2,000 for the “Help For Patka” recovery fund. External donations through GoFundMe are still accepted if you wish to support this lovely cause. LINK: https://gofund.me/dc029483

Congratulations to all the winners! I am still amazed by the true talents we heard and so many memories to last! From that, we have some good news about Patrycja. Patka is recovering well and the post-surgery results returned clear, which is amazing news for her further treatment. We are looking forward to more good news in 2023! Don’t miss the opportunity to join Sing & Shine #MusicClub with #FermataTeam , Emma Goulding, starting Thursday, 12 January. Each Club is 45 Minutes long and we work in medium-sized groups assessed by age and level.
INTRODUCTION TO GUITAR with #FermataTeam, ALAN IS LAUNCHING ON 31-JANUARY
Join this unique, in-house design recipe for learning the guitar in medium size groups. The 10-week course designed by #FermataTeam member – Alan, will focus on a key aspect of playing this wonderful instrument. We will approach various styles of music, including some great Pop/Rock bits such as Coldplay or George Ezra. The course is dedicated to beginners students, who want to challenge themselves in learning to play basic guitar in 10 Weeks! PRACTICE CHALLENGE – BACK in 2023!!!
Fancy scooping a Cinema Ticket voucher each month or having Hot/Chocolate in the local Coffee Works? Here is a simple way to do it. To support the commitment given by students between the lessons, we will pick TWO STUDENTS with the best practice times recorded in the Student/Parent Portal at the end of each month in 2023. The minimum entry criteria: 4 hours of recorder practice time in a Calendar Month. At the end f 2023, we will pick a student of a YEAR with some cracking PRIZE in sight! REMEMBER – the practice time must be recorded through the Student/Parent portal. There is 3 step manual available that I email to all of you, so you can check it easily.
HOW TO USE MYMUSICSTAFF? Don’t forget to check this MyMusicStaff FAQ section with plenty of accessible manuals or YouTube tutorials. The support channel is where you will find simple and very useful tips for using the Student & Parent portal.

New students MUST sign & pay for the Term of lessons for credit to apply to your & their account. Please note that referral credit cannot be used against arrears and the recipient’s account must be in good standing. You can recommend as many referees as you wish. If you cancel lessons before full payment is made your credit cannot be redeemed. Referral credit cannot be redeemed in cash. T&Cs apply.
GRADED EXAMS in 2023 – NEXT SESSION DUE
The exams session on our panel of gradings for 2023 will be SPRING SESSION with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. This is the last opportunity to use PIANO BOOKS from 2022 and also first exams will take place for pieces published in 2023 books. Also, great news from the Winter 2021 session, 34 students passed their exams in December with outstanding results!!! Good Luck to all that will attempt the exam in the Spring Session. Please remember, all violin and vocal students will require some additional rehearsals with pianists and that is an extra paid service, but can be organized by the school on at limited basis.

If you wish to meet outside of these hours, please contact School Manager to arrange an appointment for you.
